The Cape Regional Medical Center Diabetes Center
is certified by The Joint Commission with the Gold Seal of Approval for its Advanced Inpatient Diabetes Program and is accredited by the American Diabetes Association for Quality Self-Management Education. Self-management education is an essential component of diabetes treatment. One benefit of compliance with the National Standards is greater consistency in the quality and quantity of education offered to people with diabetes.
