“Medically Speaking”, hosted by Dr. Michael Boriss, is the weekly radio program aired each Wednesday on WCMC 1230 AM by Cape Regional Medical Center. During each show, Dr. Boriss and his guests discuss the health and wellness issues that are forefront in the minds of our patients and in the media. Show topics address leading-edge therapies and treatments, and highlight the latest developments in preventative and curative medicine. Resources, including contact numbers and mail material, are made available to you each week, compliments of “Medically Speaking” and Cape Regional Medical Center. Dr. Michael Boriss has been a member of the Medical Staff at Cape Regional Medical Center since 1987. After receiving his medical degree from the University of Health Science College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1981, Dr. Boriss performed his graduate medical education in Cardiology and Internal Medicine at Kennedy Memorial Hospital University Medical Center, Stratford, New Jersey. He is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Boriss is a partner at Regional Heart and Lung Associates located in Cape May Court House, NJ, serves on the Board of Trustees at Cape Regional Medical Center. Cape Regional Medical Center is an affiliate of the University of Pennsylvania Health System and is accredited by the Joint Commission with their Gold Seal of Approval and is an accredited Chest Pain Center. The 242-bed medical center is located in the heart of Cape May County.
