Respiratory Care
Cape Regional Medical Center’s Respiratory Care Department provides state-of-the-art inpatient and outpatient services for individuals who require treatment for a variety of breathing disorders.
Our team of professionals is instrumental in helping diagnose, treat, manage, control, rehabilitate and provide preventive care for patients with chronic cardiopulmonary challenges, such as asthma, obstructive pulmonary disease, or emphysema. Respiratory therapists also provide emergency care to patients who experience a sudden breathing problem due to heart attack, stroke, drowning, shock or some other cause. Our outpatient services include pulmonary function testing, arterial blood gas testing, assisting physicians with bronchoscopies and administering tuberculosis skin testing.
In addition, Cape Regional Medical Center offers a four-week smoking cessation program for those willing to quit smoking. It's just one more way Cape Regional Medical Center is helping Cape May County breathe easier.
