Cape Regional Health System Names Chief Nursing Officer

Cape May Court House, NJ – Cape Regional Health System has announced the appointment of Rosemary Dunn, DrNP, MBA, RN as Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). In this role, Dunn will provide oversight and leadership for all nursing services and ensure compliance with patient care quality standards.
An accomplished healthcare leader and nurse, Dunn brings over 40 years of experience to Cape Regional. Most recently, she served as CNO for Hahnemann University Hospital, a 496-bed, full service, tertiary academic care hospital in Philadelphia. During her tenure at Hahnemann, she also served as Associate CNO/Senior Director of Nursing Services and Director, Critical Care. Dunn started her career as a staff nurse where she spent several years working at area hospitals in the emergency department, cardiac catheterization laboratory, and cardiothoracic ICU.

Throughout her career, Dunn has been recognized for excellence in the healthcare field with numerous awards, including Nursing Excellence Gem Award – regional winner for advancing and leading the profession; Nursing Spectrum Annual Awards – finalist in management category; and two-time recipient of the Excellence in Leadership Award, Hahnemann University Hospital.
Dunn earned a Doctor of Nurse Practice (DrNP) at Drexel University, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Rosemont College, a Post-Master’s Certificate as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (CRNP), Drexel University; a Master of Nursing Science in Nursing Leadership (MSN) at Hahnemann University (Drexel University) and Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) at Gwynedd Mercy College.
