CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – Joanne Carrocino, FACHE, President and CEO, Cape Regional Health System and Thomas Piratzky, Executive Director, Cape Regional Foundation accepted a donation for $50,000 from members of the Polish American Club of Cape May County on November 15, 2017. Yvonne McRory-Kukeilla, President of the Club presented the check assisted by William Lisowski, Vice President, Christine Gawel, Treasurer, and Barbara Dix, Secretary.
“On behalf of the Polish American Club of Cape May County, it is our privilege to make this donation of $50,000 to Cape Regional Medical Center in recognition of all the great care you provide to the citizens of our community,” stated McRory-Kukeilla. “Thank you for you continued commitment of providing the highest quality healthcare throughout the entire County.”
The Polish American Club of Cape May County has served the County for over 42 years. After careful consideration and several years of losing members to the Club, it was decided to disband and liquidate the assets. “Many of our members and their families have benefited from the services provided by the Health System,” added Barbara Dix. “We wanted to give back and support the many programs and services provided by the Health System. Of particular interest is the Cancer Center and Surgical Services Department.”
“On behalf of the entire Health System, thank you so much for your very generous donation,” stated Joanne Carrocino. “You have served our community well over the past 42 years and now your legacy will continue at Cape Regional. A permanent recognition plaque will be placed on the Beacon Society Donor Wall located at the Patient Entrance of the Medical Center.”
