CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – Dr. Anita Raghuwanshi has been appointed President of the New Jersey Association of Endocrinologists (NJAE). The appointment was announced at the NJAE’s Annual Meeting held on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at the Crown Plaza, Princeton, NJ.
As President, Dr. Raghuwanshi will lead the NJAE Board of Directors in their mission of promoting the highest standard of evidence-based medical care within the specialty of endocrinology throughout the state and supporting the New Jersey endocrine community by providing ongoing education and networking opportunities.

“I’m honored and humbled to be handed the baton of one of the nation’s most active endocrine groups, which over the last 30 plus years has been led by some of NJ’s most brilliant endocrinologists,” stated Dr. Raghuwanshi. “I hope to live up to their tradition of leadership and honor their commitment to providing New Jersey’s endocrinologists with educational opportunities to disseminate and discuss the most cutting-edge knowledge in the Endocrine world.”

Dr. Raghuwanshi specializes in endocrinology, metabolism, and diabetes with Cape Regional Physicians Associates in Cape May Court House, NJ. Dr. Raghuwanshi earned her pre-med undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering at Harvard University prior to completing her medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine with distinction in research in biochemistry and molecular biology. She finished her graduate medical education and fellowship training at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, TX.

Dr. Raghuwanshi is board certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism as well as Obesity Medicine, with Cape Regional Physicians Associates in Cape May Court House, NJ.
