David D. Caracciolo Welcomed as Director of Security Services at Cape Regional Health System

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – Cape Regional Health System has announced the appointment of David Caracciolo as Director of Security Services at Cape Regional Medical Center. Prior to joining Cape Regional, Dave served as a New Jersey State Trooper for 25 years.
After graduating from the New Jersey State Police Academy, Sea Girt, Dave rose through the ranks of the New Jersey State Police serving as a Road Trooper, Detective, Squad Leader, various supervisory roles and ultimately serving as Captain and Executive Officer, Special Investigations Section, at Division Headquarters. As Executive Officer, Dave was responsible for oversight of 20 units within four bureaus of the Special Investigations Section. Dave is a graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdepartmental Studies and Psychology.

In his new role, Dave will provide oversight for security services and will co-chair emergency management for Cape Regional Medical Center’s campus,” stated Byron Hunter, Vice President of Human Resources. “Dave possesses extensive law enforcement, investigative and supervisory experience, and these skills will serve our patients, visitors and team members well as we promote a safe and security environment of care.”
