Mark Yoa MD, Appointed Chief of Anesthesiology and Medical Director of the Claire C. Brodesser Surgery Center at Cape Regional Health System
CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – Cape Regional Health System is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Mark Yoa as Chief of Anesthesiology and Medical Director of the Claire C. Brodesser Surgery Center. Dr. Yoa has served as a staff anesthesiologist in Cape Regional’s Anesthesia Department since 2020 and is a part of the Envision Healthcare Anesthesia Group which provides anesthesia and pain management at Cape Regional Health System.
Dr. Yoa received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and served his internship in internal medicine at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ. He completed a residency in anesthesiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. He is board certified in anesthesiology.
Dr. Yoa specializes in anesthesiology providing perioperative patient care for inpatient and ambulatory surgery settings. He is also highly skilled in ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks. Prior to joining Cape Regional Health System, Dr. Yoa served as Director of Anesthesia and Director of Neuro Anesthesia at Atlanticare-City Division, Atlantic City, NJ.
As Chief of Anesthesia and Medical Director of the Claire C. Brodesser Surgery Center, Dr. Yoa will provide oversight for Anesthesia and Pain Management Services at Cape Regional Health System, including the main operating rooms located within the medical center as well as the Claire C. Brodesser Surgery Center located he medical center campus in Cape May Court House, NJ. Dr. Yoa lives in Cape May County with his wife of 18 years and their four children.
