CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – Cape Regional Medical Center has announced the promotion of Melissa Preuhs to Accounting Manager. Melissa will oversee internal financial statements, coordinate the preparation of the annual budget and manage accounts payable.
"Congratulations to Melissa on her promotion to Accounting Manager," stated Tom Sigmund, Director of Finance, Cape Regional Health System. "Melissa has been a part of the Cape Regional Health System team since 2018 serving as an accountant. We wish her all the best in her new role."
Ms. Preuhs' accounting career has included roles as a staff accountant/auditor in a CPA firm and account manager in a real estate firm. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business/Accounting from Stockton University, graduating Magnum Cum Laude. She is currently pursuing her MBA from Stockton University and expects to graduate in May, 2022.
Melissa grew up in Cape May County where she attended and graduated from Wildwood Catholic High School. She and her husband Nick live in Upper Township and their two children. Melissa is active in her community, coaching her daughter's cheerleading squad — the Upper Township Indians — her son also plays football for the team. Melissa also serves on the board of the Upper Township Cheerleading Association. The family enjoys family vacations to Disney World, the Florida Keys, going to the beach and fishing.
