Sonja Jones, RN, MSM Welcomed as Director of Surgical Services at Cape Regional Health System

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – Cape Regional Health System is pleased to welcome Sonja Jones, RN, MSM as Director of Surgical Services. Sonja comes to Cape Regional Health System from The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Sonja is a graduate of West Chester University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Rosemont College, Bryn Mawr, PA with a Master of Science in Management. Sonja has over 30 years of nursing leadership experience including six years as Senior Director of Perioperative Services.
“Sonja’s enthusiasm for team building and development plus her more than three decades of nursing leadership experience will greatly benefit the surgical services department and the patients we serve at Cape Regional Health System,” stated Adrienne Abbot, RN, MSN, Chief Nursing Officer, Cape Regional Health System. “We are excited to welcome Sonja to the team.”
As Director of Surgical Services, Sonja will provide oversight for all operating room, same day surgery, and infusion therapy services at Cape Regional Medical Center as well as the Claire C. Brodesser Surgery Center located on the medical center campus. Sonja, her spouse and three daughters live in Sicklerville, New Jersey.
