Brenda L. Douglass is a doctorate prepared, Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a dedicated and seasoned healthcare professional with years of experience who integrates both the art and science of advanced practice nursing into care delivery.

She possesses a strong interest in health promotion, chronic disease prevention and management. Her professional career has been pivotal to care of individuals with acute and/or chronic conditions. She has practiced clinically in various specialty areas to include endocrine, cardiology, pulmonology, sleep disorders, and an innovative care model for complex, chronic health conditions. Specialty care extends to treating individuals with nicotine use disorders, diabetes, and osteoporosis. Her extensive nursing experience in Emergency Nursing and Trauma care adds to her knowledge in caring for individuals across the lifespan.
In addition to her part-time clinician role, Dr. Douglass brings forth a wealth of experience as an educator preparing future nursing leaders. She holds an administrative and faculty position in an academic setting.
Dr. Douglass received a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Chatham University (2011) with a specialization in Tobacco Use Disorders and combination pharmacotherapy. In 2006, she earned a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Thomas Jefferson University where her graduate project focused on diabetes mellitus and metabolic syndrome. Undergraduate studies were completed at Immaculata University earning a Bachelor of Science (BSN) degree.
