Biography
Dr. Michner specializes in gynecological care spanning every stage of a woman’s life. Services provided include cervical cancer screening (Pap and HPV testing), STD testing, contraception counseling, family planning, endometriosis evaluation and management, fibroid management, Immunizations, breast health screening, diagnosis and care for urinary conditions, menopause management, osteoporosis screening and diagnosis and minimally invasive surgical procedures.
Dr. Michner received his BA degree from the University of California at Berkeley, CA, where he was an All-University squash champion. After graduating medical school, Dr. Michner served his internship at the New Jersey College of Medicine and Dentistry at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, NJ. Dr. Michner’s residency was completed at Roosevelt Hospital, New York City, NY, an affiliate of Columbia University, where he served as Chief Resident.
In his passion for teaching, Dr. Michner served as Residency Program Director at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, PA, affiliated with Thomas Jefferson Medical College. He has been an Adjunct Professor of Anatomy and Physiology at Atlantic Cape Community College and as a Preceptor for the Physician Assistant Program for Arcadia University. Dr. Michner enjoys living at the Jersey Shore and playing pickleball. He especially treasures the time he spends with his grandchildren.
Dr. Michner is fluent in both English and Spanish. He is Past President of Cape May County Medical Society and the Medical Staff at Cape Regional Medical Center. Presently, he serves as a member of the Cape Regional Health System Board of Trustees
