Diabetes can be an overwhelming diagnosis. But whether you're new to the disease or struggling to manage it, you don't have to go it alone.
At Cape Regional Health System, our team of diabetes educators can help children and adults learn the self-care skills they need to stay well and avoid complications.
With our team of doctors, nurses, certified diabetes educators, nutritionists and fitness experts, you'll learn essential diabetes self-management skills, such as meal planning, blood sugar monitoring, the importance of exercise, insulin pump training and medication management.
Our diabetes education classes cover type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes. And they are covered by many insurance plans. Both day and evening classes are available. We are certified by both the American Diabetes Association.
